Game SummaryEvent Notes:
Game Game Recap: TR Info :Fall officially arrived! Marathon JV traveled to Walton with the Varsity team. The weather was cool, cloudy and it rained throughout both games. Despite the long travel and damp conditions, JV's team spirit was high and it showed while on the sidelines supporting Varsity and later on in our game. JV's game began with a race against the Mother Nature as darkness was quickly approaching. We played 10v10, with 15 minute quarters, running time in the rain. Walton scored both goals in the first quarter. But our JV crew made adjustments and kept working in order to gain possession and take the ball up the field. Momentum began to build and watching our girls work hard to use the field and pass to one another was growing. Throughout the second quarter and into the third quarter there was a good battle between the teams at the midfield. Despite great efforts by all, Marathon was unable to score though and the game was cut short due to darkness shortly into the 3rd quarter. Leaves : 2:45pm Dismissal : 2:30pm Return : 8:30pm |
